In 1967 Gómez set up his own production company, and has produced almost 100 titles since then. Prizes won at Venice, Berlin, Montreal and San Sebastián and the Oscar which Gómez won for Fernando Trueba’s Belle Epoque, has sealed his international status. Gómez was further honoured in 1998 by the Cannes Film Festival as one of the world’s 5 most important film producers.
Gómez is the man behind the success of production companies Iberoamericana Films Producciones, Rocabruno and Lolafilms. Working most prolifically under Lolafilms, the company has its own in-house distribution arm, Lolafilms Distribución, which is responsible for acquired as well as their own-produced films.
In addition to his extensive production activities, Andrés Vicente Gómez is President of the Media Business School, one of the European Union’s centres of excellence in training and development under the MEDIA Plus Programme, as well as being a founding member of the distinguished Paris-based think tank Le Club des Producteurs Européens. He is a member of the European Film Academy and a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. On 2003 – 2009, he acted as President of the International Federation of Film Producers Associations (FIAPF).
Andrés is in possession of different honors including France’s Cavalier de les Arts.

Born in Spain and educated in France, Hugo grew up bilingual while also studying English and German. In 1994, he moved to the UK and graduated in Business Administration (BA in Business Administration, HumbersideUniversity, Hull). From 1996 to 2000, he lived in London and worked as Business Consultant for Waterlow Information Services. He also focused his professional career in Film and Audiovisuals and worked for some London based companies such as Happy Fish Pictures and Red Run Pictures.More info
In 2000, he moved to La Coruña (Spain) and did an MA in Audiovisual Management (Universidad de La Coruña). Between 2000 and 2001, he worked for numerous Spanish film production companies (Continental, FORMATO, LORELEI and VACA FILMS) acting as producer, scriptwriter or director.
In 2001, he joined the Media Business School where he worked as coordinator and director of activities until the end of 2007. During these 7 years he implemented numerous training initiatives in countries such as New Zealand, UK, Germany and Africa, to name a few. Between 2008 and 2009, Hugo dedicated his efforts to understanding the creative relations existing between internet and audiovisuals, while also studying an MA in Digital Arts in Brighton (UK). Some of his work has recently been shown in Art Galleries in Spain. In 2013, he founded Efímera, a company dedicated to Performing Arts and Audiovisuals. In the last few years, Hugo has co-directed the prestigious European Master in Audiovisual Management (2012 edition) as well as the ASBP (Audiovisual Strategic Business Planning) programme for the Media Business School. He is currently involved in the Media Business School while also working on a series of TV projects for Lola Films (Spain).
rocío casado │ accounting
After graduating in Business Administration and Management at the University of Córdoba, Spain, Rocío moved to England for two years, where she achieved an Honours Degree in International Business at the University of Derby. Back in Spain in 2004, she became a Foreign Trade Specialist at the Autónoma University of Madrid, was awarded an annual internship from CEIM (Madrid’s Confederation of Employers and Industries)More info
and started working at FAPAE (Federation of Audiovisual Producer’s Associations of Spain) promoting the “CINEMA FROM SPAIN” brand through the International Affairs Department.
In 2005, she enrolled WANDA VISION’s Festivals and International Sales team for 3 years, working as Sales Executive and representing the company at the main international film markets. After those years, she was hired by MALTES PRODUCCIONES as Sales Manager, where she was involved in the early stages (pre-sales and co-productions) of the feature film “Thunder Captain”.
In 2008 Rocío reoriented her professional career working as Accountancy Assistant for FAPAE. Since 2010 she has been in charge of the MEDIA BUSINESS SCHOOL´s Accountancy and Administration department, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
