Stand up comedian in Comedy Central Spain. Writer, director, Tv and Film Producer. Carlos Clavijo has published 5 novels of diverse genres (drama, comedy, historical thriller, historical saga and comic diary) in important publishing houses such as Plaza&Janés, Tropismos, Maeva and Planeta. He won the Canal + Script Award for “Narcos” and the Andalusian Prize for Young Journalists.
He also created and directed the sketch program Telecompring and the mythic late night “Noche sin Tregua”.
His first short film as a producer -”Intercambio”- won 55 International Awards in countries such as Italy, France, EE.UU, Chile, Uruguay, Argentina, Mexico and Spain. He also participated as a tv writer in El Hormiguero (Cuatro TV), Ondas Award in 2007.
In addition to this, Carlos Clavijo has also recorded 9 stand-up routines for Paramount Comedy (Comedy Central Spain), touring in theaters and comedy clubs around Spain for more han a decade. As an expert in humor content he is interviewed in the book “ Humour and Contents in the Spanish Tv” (Universidad de Salamanca) and “Comedia Zen”, by Alejandro Angelini (Argentina).
His first feature film as a producer is Gernika.
