Chas joined WEA Records in 1977, working in Customer Services and Sales Administration before moving to Warner Home Video in 1980 when WEA took on distribution for WHV.
He worked as Marketing Assistant for WHV UK until 1983, working on the launch of the “Video Leasing Scheme” in the early days of the fledgling industry.
Chas then moved to The Daily Express in Fleet Street, where he worked for 11 months before being enticed back into video business in 1984 by CIC Video International. He then joined the Production Department as Artwork Co-ordinator and during the following 8 years, conceived and developed the Creative Services Department as the Video industry grew. He left CIC in 1992 as Creative Services Manager and joined UIP in the same position.
Throughout the following 15 years, he has expanded and developed the UIP Creative Services Department to reflect new business practices and changes in technology.
As of January 1st 2007, Chas was asked to head up the International Creative Services Dept at the newly formed Paramount Pictures International where he is the Senior Vice President, International Creative Affairs.
