Erica is currently the Head of International Acquisitions for K5 International where she most recently acquired VEHICLE 19 with Paul Wallker, Michael London’s VERY GOOD GIRLS with Dakota Fanning and Elizabeth Olsen and Mira Nair’s RELUCTANT FUNDAMENTALIST.
She was formerly the Vice President of International Acquisitions at UIP where she was responsible for acquiring feature films for Paramount and Universal Studios. Acquisitions included OLD BOY, ELITE SQUAD and STEP UP.
Prior to UIP, Erica was the Head of Film for Shine International where she was responsible for selecting the slate and managing the development, financing and production of UK based titles. While there she developed a slate of comedy films with Film Four Lab and the UK Film Council.
Erica began her film career as an international acquisition executive at HBO in New York. After two years on Wall Street and a Harvard MBA, she later joined Fox where she negotiated film deals for their international channels. As Vice President of Programming at Bertelsmann, Erica structured studio output deals, managed original productions and developed programming strategies.
Erica is on the board of Pure Grass, a transmedia production company based in the UK and a lecturer at the Media Business School in Spain.
