Luis Jiménez has been a partner at Deloitte since 1997 and is currently in charge of Media & Entertainment for Spain and Europe.
He graduated in business studies from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and continued his education with courses in strategic analysis at the University of Columbia and at INSEAD. His career has focused on the provision of professional services to media companies in the fields of i) strategic advisory services in finance, advertising and organisation, ii) the implementation of cost reduction measures, iii) the implementation of business intelligence solutions for senior management (finance, advertising, etc.), iv) audit and control and v) advisory services in M&A.
He leads Deloitte’s involvement in the preparation of the Daily Press White Paper published by AEDE (Association of Editors of Spanish Newspapers) and in the Private Television Report published by UTECA. He also gives business strategy classes as part of the Master in European Audiovisual Management (MEGA) supported by the European Union’s Media Programme.
