Monika Stöhr | Olswang

Monika is a 2004 Mega Plus graduate. She is now a Counsel in the Media, Communications & Technology group of the international law firm Olswang.

Monika is German. She studied law and holds a PhD in copyright law from the Max Planck Institute for Intellectual Property Law in Munich. After working in the Technology, Media and Telecommunications Group of Linklaters, Monika joined Olswang in 2008.

Monika has deep knowledge of the sector and of all the issues facing companies from development to production and distribution including financing. She advises on all contractual issues (rights acquisition agreements, international co-productions, output deals, sales and distribution agreements, merchandising agreements, security agreements, etc) as well as on financial structuring, subsidies and other soft money schemes. In addition, Monika advises on general copyright issues and collecting society issues. She also advises on litigation on copyright and infringement of rights. In addition, she has extensive experience and expertise in insolvency law.
