Morten is 37 years old and has a Masters degree in Musicology and Dramaturgy from Aarhus University, with a thesis about creative processes in studio recording.
For many years Morten has been a practicing musician and recording studio owner, and he has been composing and producing musical scores for theatre, movies and art exhibitions.
In 2002 Morten started teaching at Copenhagen University ‘s music department at and The Rhythmic Conservatory of Copenhagen. At the conservatory Morten took part in developing a new Music Management education where he also taught for the first couple of seasons.
During his work in the Copenhagen art world Morten became more and more interested in creative processes and in 2006 he took on the role as the project manager of Sound Forum Øresund – a public funded project aiming to bring together Danish and Swedish experts in sound technology and make them share knowledge and develop new products and services. During the project Morten facilitated different kind of development workshops between academics, artists and companies.
Alongside of his career in the art world Morten has been a freelance game designer in his spare time. And in 2008 He was offered a fulltime job designing for Workz that was a newly started consultancy, originally funded by Zentropa. Today Morten is senior designer and partner in Workz and he has been designing games and process tool for a number of Danish and international companies and organisations.
