Cinema Center “Garsas”
We are Cinema Center “Garsas” – the oldest Lithuanian cinema. Our main activity – to present a wide range of European and national films. In 2009 we became a prestigious European cinema network „Europa Cinemas“ member, since 2012 we belong to the CICAE (International Independent Film and Theatre Festival Association). Such recognitions to ,,Garsas” was to provide not only for non-commercial cinema display, but also for youth educational programs for the organization.
Cinema Center “Garsas” is a public law body. Its mission is to develop demand for non-commercial, educational films, socio-cultural communications. We seek to foster cinema culture, to acknowledge the society with cinema art, develop cinema education for children and young people, promote community social cohesion.

Lithuanian Film Centre
The Lithuanian Film Centre, established in May, 2012, is a state institution under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania. The Centre operates under the Film Law (amended in 2011). The aim of the Centre is to participate in designing an effective film and audiovisual sector policy and to foster the sustainability of the Lithuanian film industry.
The Lithuanian Film Centre: allocates subsidies for the development, production and distribution of Lithuanian films and international co-productions; promotes Lithuanian films at home and abroad; implements programmes in areas of film education, national film heritage, training for professionals, research and statistics; administers The Film Registry and film ratings scheme; represents Lithuania at international film festivals, fairs, organizations and programmes.
