  • about mpbs

    mpbs is a project-based, tutorial and consultation driven course, which focuses on the business aspects of creating cross-platform content.

    mpbs is designed for participants to develop their skills in creating crossmedia strategies and building sustainable business models for projects with transmedia potential. mpbs is led by Michel Reilhac, former Head of Acquisitions at Arte France and Executive Director of Arte France Cinema.

    mpbs offers content producers and executives ways of maximising their projects’ intellectual property (IP) value by developing cross media financing, production, marketing and international distribution strategies, with an emphasis on how to appeal and engage audiences and brands and maximise a project’s commercial value. Participants will also significantly extend their cross-sector professional network, promoting international collaborations.

    Participants from  EU member countries:

    The participation fee is 1,500€*. Additional team member: 800€*.  (Includes ground transport, accommodation and free or discounted accreditations to attend a number of MBS’ partner festivals)

    *Basic fee for nationals of media programme participating countries (All EU members, Croatia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland).

    Participants from non EU countries:

    The participation fee is 2,500€.  Additional team member: 1.000€.  (Includes ground transport, accommodation and free or discounted accreditations to attend a number of MBS’ partner festivals)
